This episode covers why it is so important to write out your vision of the future, your vision story.

“And they said, ‘Boy, you just follow your dreams!’ But my dreams were only misty notions.”**  This is a challenging phrase. A challenge to move from my misty notions masquerading as goals and dreams to buckle down to paint a clear picture of the future desired.

Show Notes

Your vision story is the place in the future you want to go. Is it more revenues and income? Is it more time freedom from the business? Is there a desire to positively impact people’s lives with your product or service in the marketplace?

Writing a Vision Story Captures Your Entrepreneurial Spirit

Writing a Vision Story Captures Your Entrepreneurial Dream

Four reasons why you need to write out your vision story (in order):

  1. Your Vision Story is a tool to lead your company’s direction based on a sharp picture of the future, not some misty notion.
  2. Your Vision Story gives you the core ingredients to win the game:  clarity of mind, certainty of direction, and strong commitment.
  3. Your Vision Story energizes you in your day-to-day commitments and motivates your team and employees to catch the wave, your wave.
  4. Following your Vision Story can result in positive results of better management, spotting your best opportunities, and increased profits.
